Please pray for my son who was just beat up by a gang of 8 or ten men outside his college dorm. He was protecting a friend who they were beating up and they said they were going to kill my son! He says he is doing okay. More later but putting out a urgent request for prayer.
God bless and love,
Donna

Oh Donna! What a nightmare it must be for you. I am praying!
Donna,
How horrible! I am so sorry this happened and am lifting up your son in my prayers now and will post this prayer request on my blog and prayer lines.
Praying for Our Mother's peace, comfort, and healing.
Oh, Donna, how horrible! Praying here!
Thank you, everyone! I'm sorry to be brief. I had to post that message quickly before I left the house. Of course, please pray for the otther boy too. I was under the impression that he didn't get hurt. But, I don't know yet. Apparantly, a group of 8students got jumped by the gang. They managed to flee the gang. But when my son looked back as he ran,he realized that one friend was being assaulted or about to be. My son ran back to save him. T he friend was then able to run. Then the gang started to beat my son, punching him in the face!! He was told that.if he fought back they would use their weapons!
Oh, Donna, that is terrible. My brother was beaten up by a gang of thugs a few years ago while he was walking home from work after dark. (He works as a chef. It was in a "nice" neighborhood, too.) Our whole family was traumatized, which is how it is when a loved one is physically assaulted.
Dear Donna, how absolutely horrifying. I am heartsick with you. I can't imagine...what a hopeless feeling as a mother. Please be assured of our many prayers. I will put him on our church email prayer chain. Hugs and prayers!
Praying to St. Michael the Archangel to protect your son, his friend and all other possible victims of this violent bunch.
Let us pray for all the grace we need to unite our sufferings to His, that many souls, who live in darkness and misery, may know His love and life.
